We have found the one – in the form of a bag -, celebrate playful patterns and make a pilgrimage to Florence for an exhibition: here are our fashion trends of the month.
Trend
To the point
The more difficult the world situation is to bear, the more playful the fashion. We have just plucked this rule out of the air. But there is certainly some truth to it, because there were more polka dots on the catwalks of the spring-summer collections than there have been for a long time. The cute polka dots are timeless anyway. And because they haven’t been ubiquitous for a while, it’s now all the more fun to go hunting for polka dot clothing and accessories.

We Love
Daily Bling
Admittedly, we are a little too lazy to match our jewelry to our outfit every day. Filigree designs with recognition value are therefore exactly our thing. At Liebeskind Berlin, we find simple pieces that make us turn around a second time and that we love to wear day and night.

Darling
The One
Finding the perfect bag is a lifelong task. If you don’t believe in one, it’s better to buy a collection. After all, there’s a lot of pressure on a single bag if it has to fulfill all your wishes. One that could stand up to the pressure is the new “D-Journey” from Dior. We dug out our list of high expectations and found that we could tick off the most important points. Material: It comes in canvas or leather and with different textures and colors. Size: Three different sizes. And most importantly, it looks cool or elegant depending on how you style it – so it always goes with everything from work to play.

Footwear
For some, they are nothing more than a means of keeping your feet warm – for others, they are a life’s work. Salvatore Ferragamo embodied the sentiment that a shoe is much more than what you put on before you leave the house. In the Museo Ferragamo, you can now follow in his footsteps. From room to room, you enter stages of his life and learn how Ferragamo became one of the most sought-after Italian brands. Shapes, soles, colorful designs and a great deal of knowledge about anatomy transform visitors into experts. A spring weekend trip to Florence is a must for shoe fans. Enter without Ferragamo shoes on your feet at your own risk.
“Salvatore Ferragamo 1898 – 1960”, extended until April 27, 2025, Museo Ferragamo, Palazzo Spini Feroni, Piazza Santa Trinita, Florence, museo.ferragamo.com

Unfuck the World
Do good, look good
Less is more – we actually agree with this motto in all situations. Actually. But when it comes to fashion, there’s a bit of a problem. There are simply too many beautiful pieces that we want in our closet. Well, brands like Thinking Mu show us that this motto can certainly be combined with a love of fashion. The Spanish label focuses on sustainability. Organic fibers without pesticides instead of plastic and as little waste as possible are the order of the day. The star among the materials? Hemp. The production of the fiber requires 95 percent less water than cotton. The hemp plant itself absorbs four times more CO² than trees. And clothing made from it not only looks good, but also feels comfortable. A win-win-win situation.

It-Piece
Une baguette, please
If you are surprised by a sudden drop in blood sugar on the road, a bite of freshly baked bread will help. Whether this is the reason why the pockets are just as long and thin as a baguette, we don’t know. What we do know, however: The shape is elegant, offers space for all sorts of important things – not just long bread – and seems to be so popular with some designers that the variety of models is almost as large as the selection at the bakery.

New Collection
Feeling blue
In our latitudes, spring is not exactly the same in reality as it is in our mind’s eye. Instead of picnics in the park and sunglasses, there are unexpected downpours and maybe even one last round of snow. The Danish label Samsøe Samsøe knows the problem all too well. And that’s why it’s an expert at layering. Anyone who has to deal with three different types of weather in one day is well served with light and airy tops and a jacket or two.
