The Hype: Watches & Jewellery Trends of the Month

It sparkles and glitters, the Chinese Year of the Snake is celebrated and classics are given a new look: we have tracked down the latest watch and jewelry trends for you.

We Love

Crushing

Before Gabrielle “Coco” Chanel became a style icon – before she even founded her own Maison – she found inspiration in the stables. She was so fascinated by the quilting pattern on the blankets of her lover Etienne Balsan’s horses and on the jackets of the stable boys that Madame Chanel later used it for her fashion creations. The “Coco Crush” jewelry series, launched in 2015, is also characterized by the now iconic quilted pattern. Now the series has been given a makeover: diamonds illuminate the diagonal lines thanks to a new pavé setting technique.

Nice to Have

Fleurs Éternelles

A quick spring brainstorming session produces the following on paper: a picnic in the park, flowers and endless sunshine. With luxurious stones such as diamonds, rubies and sapphires, precision craftsmanship and design talent, the notes can be transformed into a jewelry collection. Not by us, of course, but by a professional. With the “Milly Dentelle” collection from Dior, Victoire de Castellane has created pieces that are as delicate as they are colorful and that you will want to wear not only in spring, but in every season. And of course, the odd flower has also crept into the design.

New Collection

Instant Classic

The function of a watch remains the same, but what you build around it can be reinvented at any time. The Cubitus collection from Patek Philippe focuses on corners and edges – and curves. Three new cases launch the new model family, which already has the potential to become a classic. The sporty, slim watch impresses with the new function of the instantaneous display change of the big date, moon phase and day of the week. To this end, the Manufacture has developed a new movement with automatic winding – and applied for no less than six patents, including one for the energy management for the various displays and their simultaneous jumps within 18 milliseconds.

New Edition

Everything automatic

In the Chinese calendar, the snake takes center stage in 2025; at Bulgari, it does so every year. The year of the snake seemed like a good time to make the iconic Serpenti watch even more iconic. And it did so by incorporating the “Lady Solotempo BVS100” caliber, a completely new in-house automatic movement. This is fitting, as the scaly reptile symbolizes the cyclical rhythm of the universe and renewal – just as the automatic winding mechanism can be wound again and again.

Darling

All-rounder

Acting, writing, drawing, modeling, making music – Lou Doillon is not only the daughter of the legendary Jane Birkin, but also has so much to offer that we are almost a little envious. Of course, she is the perfect match for Cartier’s multi-faceted “Baignoire”, a watch that also doubles as a piece of jewelry. In the spirit of versatility, the “Baignoire” comes in four new versions. Whether mini format, diamond-set bezel or extra voluminous proportions: There’s a new favorite for everyone.
