It-Piece
Fashion trend flotsam and jetsam
The kitschy shell necklace has had its day. Now we dip the splendid item in precious gold and hang it around our necks as a souvenir. David Koma takes the addiction to the sea to the extreme and combines the eye-catching necklace with a look in a bold blue that lets us feel the sea breeze in the air even on the grayest day.

Fashion Trends: Hot Stuff
Everything is better together. That’s why Wolford and N21 are teaming up this season to bring out a collection that makes it easy for us to grin even when the sun isn’t shining. Hot tights, cool lace suits and cut-out bodysuits make us whoop with delight. What makes us smile mischievously underneath causes excitement and at least enough compliments to last the whole summer.

Fashion Trend: Travel Fever
Are you at a loss in front of your closet and simply don’t know what you should put in your suitcase to be prepared for every situation on your next vacation? Well, we’re not quite into the head-to-toe look, but Gucci’s new summer collection has everything you need on the beach in Saint Tropez or by the pool in Miami Beach. The label is also pimping its icons and giving bags such as the Jackie 1961 or the Horsebit 1955 a new look with woven raffia that screams adventure. Loafers and slip-on shoes are the perfect accompaniment to carry us through the airport and into the distance, where we enjoy the summer in loose jackets and cool shirts.

The Look
Fashion Trend – Barbie Girl
More denim? Seriously?! YES! And why? Because GCDS reinterprets the jeans look. Pink instead of blue, cut to the figure instead of oversized – and anyway, has the destroyed look ever looked more elegant?

Fashion Trend – Comfy
Ditch the blister plasters and opt for sandals that don’t pinch or pinch, but simply fit perfectly. The Swiss label URBNC3 uses smartphone scans and 3D printing to model individual soles that provide us with exactly the support our feet need. Once the ergonomically perfect sole has been created, it is up to us to decide what the finished shoe will look like. The online configurator helps us find the perfect strap and give our sandals our favorite look. The products are made from biodegradable, vegan and recyclable materials. The official launch of the label is imminent and you can already register at urbnc3.com.

Fashion Trend – Back to the Future
Everything comes back. This applies to fashion from the past as well as to leftover materials. Neubau Eyewear and the German fashion label Odeeh are teaming up this summer to provide us with the two wacky sunglasses models “Phaedra” and “Alexis”, which catapult us back to the 60s and 70s with their geometric shapes and pop colors. What material waste was generated during the production of the colorful glasses was turned into fashionable accessories by the two labels, demonstrating how sustainable thinking actually works.

Swimming ring
Something between a cozy sandal and a rock star heel, just sexy enough to make you think of clubbing, and yet so comfortable that we can stroll up and down the promenade in them for hours: This is the platform sandal by Ferragamo made of golden goatskin and lambskin (approx. 1,590.-) made for summer and for goddesses who don’t compromise.
