A T-shirt for democracy, an It girl in the allotment and lots of fluff: here are our favorite fashion trends.
Trend
Bubbly
Gray, brown and plain are familiar from winter fashion. So we’re all the more pleased that a playful piece is currently making waves. You can’t do without a short, voluminous bubble skirt this winter. You can combine this piece with anything – it’s the centerpiece of every outfit anyway.
We Love
Essentials
Cell phone, wallet, keys… and lipstick, chewing gum, maybe a book, writing utensils, power bank, disposable camera – you carry a lot with you when you’re out and about all day. Not all of it is usable, but that is of secondary importance. The important thing is that we can store our stuff in a nice bag. We are guaranteed to find them at Dorothee Schumacher.
Unfuck the World
Democracy Now
The world is a shambles. We don’t want to sink into pessimism, but that’s how it feels sometimes. Fashion can’t save everything, but it can at least set an example. In times like these, a clear statement against right-wing agitation and hatred is more necessary than ever. How can we turn this into reality? By grabbing the new shirt from the Solidarity Series by Armedangels. The design collective Studio Yukiko has created the bold lettering that succinctly communicates what matters now: Democracy. All profits from the sale of the T-shirts will go to the “Augen auf – Zivilcourage zeigen” association, which has been committed to tolerance and democratic awareness for over 20 years.

Darling
Bling
Anyone who mainly knows Pharrell thanks to his mega hit “Happy” has some catching up to do. Although he has 13 Grammy Awards to his name, the multi-talented artist also likes to get involved in the fashion world. In 2023, he was appointed Louis Vuitton’s new Menswear Creative Director. And now he has taken a liking to the world of jewelry. With Tiffany, Pharrell has launched the “Tiffany Titan” collection, whose rings, necklaces and co. with their details reminiscent of spearheads drew inspiration from Greek mythology.
New Collection
Garden Fairy
What is the eternal It girl, fashion icon and model Alexa Chung doing in an allotment? She hasn’t picked up another hobby, but is staying true to her fashion roots as the face of Barbour’s new collection. Instead, she has ditched the rock star look we are used to seeing from the early 2010s and cuts a fine figure in the midst of cabbage and turnips. She has always been multi-faceted. However, the looks are not only suitable for plucking carrots and tying bouquets, but also for all other autumnal activities.
It Piece
Sky High
Fashion trends are not as impractical as some people claim. Short dresses and skirts may be the order of the day this winter, but nobody has to freeze: overknee boots are the ideal footwear to complete the look. They keep your legs at least as warm as stockings or trousers.
Nice to Have
Fluff
We’ve found it! The perfect autumn shoe that combines several of our favorite trends: In ballerina form, because we don’t want to dig out the warm winter boots just yet, and with plenty of fluffy fur, because it’s going to get colder soon after all. Whether lavender purple, lemon yellow or plain black, this plush model from Ferragamo takes every outfit to the next level.
