Molteni&C, one of the leading Italian design brands, is establishing its presence in the heart of Europe with the opening of a new flagship store in Frankfurt.
In cooperation with Braum, a family business rooted in Bad Homburg since 1903, the store will bring the charm and innovative design of Molteni&C to the impressive Taunusturm complex, an architectural jewel located in Frankfurt’s vibrant banking district. Marcus Braum, who has been cooperating with Molteni&C for two decades, is intensifying his long-term partnership with the Italian furniture store with this new opening.
Design meets tradition
Covering 450 square meters over two floors, the store will provide a harmonious environment in which to showcase Molteni&C’s innovative creations. Here, visitors will have the opportunity to experience the brand’s exquisite design aesthetics and quality craftsmanship in an inspiring atmosphere. The ambience flooded with natural light, underlined by warm tones and fine materials, presents the high-quality furniture collection in a newly interpreted living concept.
A fusion of classical and modern
The pieces of furniture on show are the result of collaborations with renowned international designers and architects such as Vincent Van Duysen, Jean Nouvel, Foster + Partners and Herzog & de Meuron, to name but a few. The store reflects the multifaceted character of the brand and combines contemporary designs with iconic pieces from the Heritage Collection.
Visitors are welcomed by a dining area in which timeless designs are harmoniously combined with modern creations. Vincent Van Duysen’s creative influence can be seen in various areas, such as the Cleo sofa and Janet chairs, which represent a harmonious combination of form and function.
Elegance and innovation
On the second floor, guests can expect an exquisite blend of elegance and warmth, represented by the interplay of Superwhite marble and Sunrise oak. Pieces such as the Aldgate bed and the Cinnamon armchair are presented here, with the latter marking the first collaboration between Molteni&C and Japanese designer Naoto Fukasawa.
