“I’m obsessed with this bag!” – When Dua Lipa says that, you listen. Because the Grammy winner knows what’s hot. And when Chanel calls, it’s no coincidence that the star also declares the new Chanel 25 handbag an it-piece. Together with Blackpink’s Jennie, she brings a breath of fresh air to the traditional house’s campaign.
Dua Lipa is not only the face of the campaign, but also the perfect muse for the Chanel 25: a bag for people who never stand still. “It’s flexible, lightweight and has enough space for everything I need: books, sunglasses, notebooks and even my crystals.” Yes, crystals. Because even pop stars need a bit of spiritual grounding between tours and award shows. And as if one superstar wasn’t enough, Jennie from Blackpink has now joined them. Already a Chanel ambassador since 2017, she brings her very own touch to the campaign: “This bag adapts to my life, whether traveling or working. It’s practical and perfect for my style at the same time.” A statement that certainly won’t leave fans around the world unimpressed.

A piece of nostalgia
Anyone who lived through the late eighties and early nineties knows that this decade had a very special feeling. And it is precisely this feeling that the new Chanel campaign brings back. Photographed by David Sims and with a film by Gordon von Steiner, it brings back the energy of the era. The soundtrack? “She Drives Me Crazy” by the Fine Young Cannibals. “I love this song! It’s made for that feeling of freedom and rebellion,” says Dua. Between the streets of Manhattan and the studio setting, she dances her way through the campaign with playful ease – Chanel 25 always by her side.

A classic with an upgrade
The bag itself remains true to the iconic Chanel codes – quilting, chain strap, multiple compartments – yet brings a modern twist. Practical, functional and stylish. In black, denim or bright colors, it adapts to any look, whether carried over the shoulder or in the hand.
