Chanel opens first shoe boutique in Zurich

Some people have a separate room for their shoes – Chanel now has a whole boutique. On 11. The Maison opened its first shoe boutique in Switzerland in the middle of Zurich’s luxury mile, Bahnhofstrasse.

On 11. Chanel took a very special step in Zurich on February 2025 – at the coveted Bahnhofstrasse address. In the Bongénie department store, the Maison opened its first shoe boutique in Switzerland, without compromising on luxury and furnishings.

Where design meets shoes

The famous New York architect Peter Marino designed the 60 square meter shoe paradise – a space so Chanel that Gabrielle herself would knock off her bicolor slingbacks on it. Black, white, beige, gold – the color palette pays homage to her signature tones, while tweed sofas, custom rugs and artfully crafted furniture complete the elegant retail space. A modern interpretation of the famous Chanel code.

The perfect choice of shoes

For the opening, Chanel is presenting a selection of Cruise Collection models that have already caused a stir in Marseille. There will also be summer highlights such as the new sandals with bows from the spring-summer 2025 pre-collection. For those who want to bridge the winter in style, the boutique will also feature the high boots from the autumn-winter 2024/25 prêt-à-porter collection. And of course they will not be missing – the legendary two-tone slingbacks and ballerinas, which have long outgrown trends and perfectly embody Chanel’s signature.
