Massimo Giorgetti has always had a talent for combining youthful energy with depth. But in the MSGM fall/winter 2025/26 collection, he goes one step further: What can be seen, what remains hidden? Where does material end and lightness begin? This is not about short-lived trends, but about playing with layers – visually and conceptually.
The MSGM Fall/Winter 2025/26 Collection
Inspired by Alberonero, an Italian artist who works with light, color and transparency, Giorgetti transformed tulle from a nice extra into a real statement. Layers of gossamer fabric played with translucency, while color gradients in red, acid yellow and pink were reminiscent of Alberonero’s work.

But the whole thing is not a dreamy fairytale look. MSGM wouldn’t be MSGM without a good dose of down-to-earthness, which is why robust materials such as eco-fur, fleece and scuba fabrics also came into play. Hard meets soft, solid meets airy – it was precisely this contrast that made the collection so exciting.

A real highlight was the collaboration with Caterina Frongia, who designs fabrics with interwoven lettering. Here, the texts are not just decoration, but fashionable stories you can touch.

The show took place in an up-and-coming art location – a clear statement: MSGM doesn’t just want to make fashion, it wants to immerse itself in the art scene. But sometimes the whole thing was a little too obvious – the oversized layers of tulle and lettering could have left more room for interpretation. Nevertheless: Giorgetti manages to combine raw energy with sophistication – and shows that MSGM doesn’t just attract, but captures an attitude to life.
