Sunglasses? Huge. Color scheme? Aquatic. Fabrics? Airy. It’s easy to see from our fashion trends of the month how much we’re in the summer mood right now. Read on if you want to get infected.
Trend
Aquamarine
Mermaid Core? Ocean Core? Aquatic Bliss? Today there are no longer trends, but so-called aesthetics with illustrious names. If you believe TikTok and co. But you don’t have to throw your whole style overboard and reinvent yourself to integrate aquamarine blue into your outfit. Either way, the refreshing shade somewhere between ocean blue and mint green is perfect for the coming months, which will hopefully consist mainly of a cycle of sunshine and cooling.

It-Piece
Covered
Which shape of sunglasses is in right now? A trivial question that can trigger heated discussions. This season, particularly large lenses have caught our eye. They protect against sunburn, hide any bad moods or bad skin and provide anonymity. Disadvantages? We don’t see any. Except perhaps that you get a wash-like mark on your face if you lie in the sun for too long.

Anniversary
I lost my Choo!
Lights off, snacks ready, TV on: The “Sex and the City” binge marathon can begin. Okay, it’s summer and we should actually be outside enjoying the sun. But the crises and tragedies of 2025 are sometimes so hard to bear that only one thing helps: dreaming back to the sweet late nineties and early two-thousands. Iconic fashion house Jimmy Choo, which will soon be celebrating its thirtieth birthday, is doing the same. Creative Director Sandra Choi grabbed designer Conner Ives and fashion journalist Alexander Fury and rummaged through the archive with them. They got stuck on the first five years and decided on eight legendary styles that are now being brought back to life. Among them is “72138”, which made the brand a global pop culture phenomenon thanks to Sarah Jessica Parker as Carrie Bradshaw. There’s nothing like a bit of nostalgia.

New Collection
Vibrant
Blue for the glittering sea, yellow for the sun, red for the skin that we have not sufficiently protected with sunscreen: Summer has its very own color palette. This can also be found at MSGM. The Milan-based label’s summer collection is so summery with its colors and patterns that we can’t imagine the looks anywhere other than on the beach at our all-inclusive resort. English artist Luke Edward Hall adds an extra dose of creativity with his sketches.

Collaboration
Pleated Please
sun protection: Summer has its very own color palette. If you had to choose just one summer piece, you should go for a long summer dress. You can wear it from morning to night, from the city to the beach, from May to September. Our choice is a piece from the 079 label’s collaboration with German designer Julia Heuer. Her signature prints and pleated fabrics are perfect for an airy dress that makes every accessory and pair of shoes secondary.

Unfuck the World
Old and Gold
New season, new clothes? Of course, the temptation to keep stocking up is great – and the pressure on brands to keep coming up with new designs is correspondingly high. However, this way of thinking is also creating tons of waste on an already burning planet. That’s why The Slow Label calls its new collection “No New Stuff”. This is because it consists of pieces that already exist. After all, a well-chosen piece should not only give pleasure for one summer, but for years to come.

Special Edition
Prima Ballerina
In hip Berlin-Kreuzberg, you inevitably stumble from one cool store to the next. One of them is Voo, a concept store with exquisite design pieces. Right there – and nowhere else – you will find a new edition of the popular Puma Speedcat, a shoe that is the perfect cross between a sneaker and a ballerina.
Puma x Voo, Speedcat Ballet Sneaker, approx. 120.
