“Astronaut!” and “Pilot!” used to ring out in the classroom when the teacher asked about our dream job. Now “influencer” is the word on everyone’s lips. Well, we’ve been where today’s influencers want to be, namely at the Smile Swiss Influencer Award 2023. On October 14, 2023, the award ceremony entered its fourth round, this year for the first time at “The Hall” in Dübendorf. This year’s award night brought together a who’s who of the Swiss influencer scene: 54 creators were nominated in a total of nine categories, and nine of them left the event with an award in their pocket. Before heading home, however, it was time to hit the dance floor. After all, an event without an afterparty would be, well, boring? So the ice cubes clinked in the glass to the beat of the music while our thumbs held down the record button – after all, good content doesn’t produce itself.
Highlight: The winners’ beaming smiles.
Conclusion: Party with influencers? A self-runner.
