The Elite Model Look Contest enters the next round. Up-and-coming models have until August 2021 to apply to represent Switzerland at the world final in New York and appear on the cover of FACES.
Standing on the catwalk or in front of the lens of famous photographers: being a model, oh yes, that would be something. But unlike a commercial apprenticeship or a university degree, there is no predetermined path. Model-wannabes still have the best chance at the Elite Model Look, which ultimately elevated Swiss models such as Ronja Furrer, Sarina Arnold and Manuela Frey to the international fashion stage. Elite Model Look is the most important young model contest in the world for a reason. Every year, more than 350,000 applications are submitted to the jury. The national finals are followed each fall by the world finals in New York, where all the finalists from the various countries compete for victory.
Applications for the Swiss Elite Model Look are open until August to anyone who wants to try their hand at modeling:

The castings are finally followed by the tough boot camp, and whoever manages to convince the jury of Ursula Knecht (OM Option Model Agency), Grazia Covre (choreographer, show producer and artistic director) and Jenny Settembrini (PR consultant EML) will stand on the podium of the Swiss elimination. The two winning Swiss models will not only represent Switzerland at the world final, but will also be featured on the cover of an upcoming issue of FACES.
