We need to listen to each other, build understanding, open our eyes and look where it hurts. The exhibition “Human.Kind” shakes up our view of the world, shows current strokes of fate and the faces behind the headlines. Over 300 photographs document global humanitarian work and shift the focus away from the horror and onto the people.

People suffer. They do it because of wars and injustices, because of climate change and its effects and because of the daily challenges facing our society. Humanitarian work starts where others see no way out. This commitment is documented by more than 300 works by 30 photographers from 24 countries, which will be on display in the exhibition “Human.Kind”, curated from entries submitted for the Prix Pictet, until 14 October. April 2024 at the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Museum in Geneva.
