The formula for happiness isn’t all that complicated. Bright sunshine and nature are enough to bring a smile back to troubled souls. Photographer Cecilia Pignocchi came to this realization during her sabbatical. She took a 408-day break from the corporate world and set off on a sun-drenched trip through Europe. The result is the ongoing photo series “Tempo Bello,” which conveys pure joy of life through surreal, colorful, and abstract scenes.

Tempo Bello
Being sensitive to the weather isn’t just a lot of nonsense. Because when the sun shines, so does your spirits. Photographer and art director Cecilia Pignocchi has experienced this firsthand. With her ongoing series “Tempo Bello,” she artistically captures colorful and carefree moments. The idea came to her during a sabbatical, after she had quit her job in Amsterdam and wanted to explore the world without a plan—but with plenty of freedom.
