No more calculating whether the parking space is big enough and awkwardly turning your head: The new DS 3 Crossback E-Tense from DS Automobil is here! With its DS PARK PILOT system, we lean back, fold our arms behind our heads and wait for the car to park sideways or in reverse. The all-electric car scores points not only for its technical prowess, but also for its CO2 emissions: There are none of them. Zero. Nada. This means we can drive silently through the night in the electric car without a guilty conscience and no longer struggle with the high beam thanks to the DS MATRIX LED-VISION1 function. This is because this system adapts to the light conditions and the omnipresent stress of switching the high beam on and off has disappeared. All important information, such as speed or navigation, is projected onto a transparent screen in the driver’s field of vision. So you no longer need to take a quick sideways glance at the cruise control to be safe from the speed camera.
After the little jaunt, we return without buses, aching necks and high pulse rates and are truly impressed by the new DS Automobiles.
