The Tod’s Spring-Summer 2027 collection is a compelling ode to authentic Italian luxury that has no interest in spectacle. While the fashion calendar often relies on gimmicks to make headlines, Creative Director Matteo Tamburini proves that the real highlight lies in perfect proportions, a passion for tactile quality, and timeless pieces.
The true triumph lies in how the collection manages to give leather—a material that has historically tended to feel stiff in the heat—a certain sense of weightlessness. Pashmy leather drapes with an almost fluid drape, while butter-soft nappa is crafted into short trench coats and flowing biker jackets. Windsilk—a luxurious blend of silk and nylon—makes the clothing move more like a cool Mediterranean breeze than a heavy, luxurious uniform.
The silhouettes follow a similarly minimalist approach. The cuts appear effortless and are characterized by cropped trench coats, soft shoulders, and casual Bermuda shorts. A subdued color palette of ivory, tobacco, chocolate, navy, and black is punctuated by rich accents of saffron yellow, deep crimson, and horizon blue.
