The fall/winter 2026/27 Fashion Week season kicked off in New York on February 11 – and the tone was immediately clear. This was not a week of retreat or restraint.
The runways were all about volume, texture and strong silhouettes. Fur got bigger. Satin touched the floor. Lace was deliberately close to the body. Tailoring looked sharpened instead of soft. Even minimalism was sculptural, precise and with a clear stance. American fashion was self-confident in its codes and was not afraid of impact. Heritage was reasserted through proportions, glamor was defined through structure. The strongest looks were not about trends, but about clarity – clothes that work immediately and last longer.
If the last few seasons were rather quiet, New York is now focusing on visibility again. Texture instead of neutrality. Structure instead of fragility. Glamor is back – controlled, constructed and unapologetic. To which we say: Yes, please!

While the fashion circus moves on to London, New York will be clearly remembered. American design is at its strongest when it doesn’t chase after every hype, but emphasizes its own authority. Fall/Winter 2026/27 shows that self-confidence – in structure, texture and volume – defines this season.
