“Stuned” produces bags made from Swiss linen

The textile industry lacks sustainability. Elisabeth Meier recognizes this and founds the bag start-up “Stuned” together with two nieces. Sustainable, stylish and Swiss Made. They are now presenting three new models made of Swiss linen.

Stylish, functional and sustainable at the same time: this is what the young start-up “Stuned” defines with its bags made in Switzerland. Newcomers Elisabeth Meier, Nadine Stampfli and Sheena Thommen are aiming high with their ecological concept. This is one of the reasons why they recently became a member of the Circular Clothing Cooperative. This supports companies such as “Stuned” in their efforts to achieve climate-neutral textile production. The goal: complete, sustainable production cycles instead of unnecessary waste production. The new summer collection from “Stuned” is also made of linen. “With the new bags made from Swiss linen, we are already very close to our ideal in terms of sustainability,” says Stampfli. The linen bags are produced by the company Swiss Flax, whose aim is to bring linen production back to Switzerland. The summery canvas bags are only produced in small quantities or even to order.

The new collection includes three individual designs: the round pouch bag “Stuned Summer Edition Big”, its little sister “Stuned Summer Edition City” and the “StunedSummer Wellness”, all in light-colored linen fabric:
