For its Spring/Summer 2027 collection, Onitsuka Tiger eschewed the usual runway opulence and transformed its Milan venue into a sparse, high-energy gas station called “Energy Station.” The show began with the deafening roar of two Honda sport motorcycles racing down the runway—a high-octane opening that set the stage for a collection built entirely on the tension between rugged, street-ready functionality and fluid tailoring.
What makes this collection so brilliant are the unconventional styling choices. Crisp, structured functional jackets made of cotton, low-rise cargo pants, and chic, 1960s-inspired leather racing miniskirts do not convey a tough attitude at all. Instead, they were paired with unexpected accents of delicate Western-style silk fringe, flowing devoré velvet, and playful pastel pink touches. By pairing structured, earth-toned suits with jersey fabrics that fit like a second skin and airy industrial mesh, the collection proves that speed-oriented basics can look completely effortless in the modern urban landscape.

The big topic of conversation was the official partnership with Honda. The partnership elevated racing apparel to the realm of haute couture by featuring Honda’s iconic wing logo on lightweight mesh jerseys, caps, and socks—along with a real concept motorcycle sporting custom tiger stripes.
The shoes complete the silhouettes and showcase an elegant, contemporary take on the iconic Onitsuka Tiger Stripe. The legendary Mexico X66 is reimagined in vintage metallic leather and casual mule styles, appearing alongside eye-catching knee-high boxer boots in “Tiger Yellow” and studded penny loafers.
