Anna-Angelina Wolfers is one of those people you would think had more than 24 hours in a day. Her own online store Goldigshop.de, work as an actress, presenting and soon a podcast, which we are already looking forward to like children at Christmas: yes, Wolfers is always busy. And she loves what she does and much more. Namely pasta and rosé and everything with pink and glitter. Likeable, we think.

FACES: What does your normal working day look like?
Anna-Angelina Wolfers: Every day is different for me. My office is at home, where I usually start with coffee and a round of emails and calls. Then maybe an order in the showroom for my Goldigshops, or I’ll pop into the stores. Sometimes I support the girls on site, help with packing and with the goods, or I prepare our #shopnoworcrylater instalives. When I have upcoming collaborations, I prepare them and create photo and video material. Video material and so on.
F: How long do you tweak a photo before you post it on Instagram?
AW: As good as not at all. I’m relatively unfiltered on Instagram, I take people through my chaotic, colorful everyday life – and that’s how my pictures look too… colorful and chaotic.
F: What will you be doing in ten years?
AW: Hopefully I’ll have a little hut by the sea and work from there in winter.
F: The coolest invitation you’ve ever received?
AW: With Chanel to Grasse to harvest May roses for Chanel Nº5. It was incredible and I am infinitely grateful to have been able to go on this amazing trip.
F: What is your definition of an influencer?
AW: To infect people with your enthusiasm for something.
F: Who do you stalk yourself on Instagram?
AW: Hailey and Justin Bieber, my husband Johannes Strate and his band Revolverheld, Kate Gelinsky, because I like her stories so much and also those of my girls in the Goldigshop.
F: The best compliment you’ve ever received for your work?
AW: You are so wonderfully authentic.
F: At what moments do you wish you were more anonymous?
AW: When I’m on vacation with my family.
“I stalk Hailey and Justin Bieber on Instagram.”
F: What’s your favorite photo in your feed?
AW: There are many – most likely the ones that create a moment of complete happiness in me when I look at them once more. So the ones where I’m with my family, vacations, moments with friends or great days on set, for example.
F: Where is your favorite place to shoot?
AW: For Goldig somewhere with Jeremy Moeller, because he just has such a great eye and makes every stupid weather and dull background look special. I also like the light in the south so much, you just always look so beautifully lit and get that “extra glow”. “
F: What’s on your mind the most right now?
AW: The situation and future of our world!
F: What are you particularly proud of?
AW: That I built my business myself – without any experience, without credit or sponsors, just with courage! And that I know that I am independent and can look after myself.
F: What would you change if you had the power?
AW: Ending wars, ending famine, stopping climate change, closing the gap.
F: Who is your role model?
AW: J. Lo!
F: What do you collect?
AW: Everything I find beautiful. It could be a beautiful bag, painted pictures and letters from my son, memories in the form of little messages from my husband (he used to write me postcards when he was on tour), nail polish and lipsticks in all the colors of the rainbow, anything that glitters, and so on and so forth….
F: What experience will you never forget?
AW: The birth of my son.
F: What would you like to receive as a gift?
AW: Love and respect.
F: What do you like to spend money on? What not for?
AW: For beautiful things and also for things that make other people happy. Also for good food and great vacations. I work so much that I want to reward myself here and there. I don’t spend a lot of money on clothes in my private life because I work with them so much.
F: What do you want people to say about you?
AW: That I am authentic, direct and loud, sometimes my heart may be too much on my tongue, but I have never pretended.
