“Twenty years of Giorgio Armani Privé have been an extraordinary, liberating journey.” This is how Giorgio Armani himself describes the last two decades of his haute couture. And this journey is now on public display: The “Twenty Years of Haute Couture” exhibition is opening at Armani/Silos in Milan. Curated by the designer himself, the exhibition is not a retrospective, but a walk through two decades of fashion history.

Giorgio Armani has not exactly rested on his laurels on the catwalk over the last twenty years. Since 2005, under the Armani Privé label, he has been showing what haute couture can look like when it is not made for effect, but for eternity. Now he is celebrating this chapter of his career with his own exhibition at the Armani/Silos in Milan. Self-curated, of course. After all, Armani does not leave his story to chance.

An experience for all the senses
Anyone who thinks that a fashion exhibition consists only of racks full of robes will be proven wrong here. Armani transports visitors into a world of color, light, scent and sound. A specially composed soundtrack provides the finishing touch. The whole thing feels like a walk through a dream that nevertheless remains firmly grounded in reality.
The exhibition runs until December 28, 2025 at the Armani/Silos in Milan. So if you still need a reason to travel to the Italian fashion metropolis – Armani provides it.
