Which jeans finally use less water, how we are slowly welcoming the fashionable fall, why we wear bags on our forearms and what cowboy boots have to do with all of this: Our fashion trends of the month will tell you.
Trend
Cool Cat
If something has always been cool and will always be cool, can it even be called a trend? We think so, because our beloved animal print strutted down the catwalk so often at this year’s fall/winter shows that there was no escaping it. The leopard in particular not only adorned entire outfits, but also shoes and bags. Whether it’s a full-body cat look or an accessory is up to you – the main thing is that the wild cat finds its place somewhere in an outfit.
It-Piece
Close
Neither the contents nor the bag itself will be stolen this season, we’re sure of it. We now carry bags directly under our arms, no matter how big they are. Practical? Rather less so. Stylish? Even more so.
New Collection
Fall Feelings
Wasn’t it summer just a moment ago? We were lying by the lake in the blazing sun. Not even the thought of the cold months could cool us down. One look at the new Loewe collection, however, is enough to pour out more autumn spirit than the season’s rainfall – and suddenly we’re longing for floor-length coats and rich fall colors.
Darling
Delicate
Malaika Raiss gently reminded us to let go of summer: With an event for her pre-fall collection “Imagine”, which makes us want to stow away the bikini and reintegrate jeans and leather jackets into our everyday outfits. It’s still light and airy, because as usual, the Berlin designer has plenty of draping fabrics and splashes of color. As we browse through the online store, we get that autumn feeling – and the desire to finally wear layers again.
We Love
Cowgirl-Core
Last year it was Margot Robbie as Barbie in a pink cowboy hat, this year Taylor Swift on her Eras tour: both not only brought the country look into the spotlight, but also gave it the necessary sparkle. So it’s no wonder that we’re longing for fall so that we can stroll along the streets in high heels rather than trudging through the stables in sparkling boots. We adore this elegant version from Minacapilli, which, with their silver fringes and pencil-thin heels, are definitely suitable for going out. Incidentally, Minacapilli also has something for everyone who, despite the hype, can’t get into the cowgirl look.
Unfuck the World
Blue
We know that the production of our beloved blue jeans requires, or rather wastes, unheard-of amounts of water. And to be honest, we usually ignore it. However, the French label ba&sh is taking a closer look and driving change towards sustainability. After first calculating the alarming water footprint, action is now being taken: Among other things, the aim is to focus more on materials that require less water and chemicals in the washing phase, such as organic cotton. But that’s not all. While water management is a key issue, the sustainability strategy up to 2030 is based on the following pillars: climate and biodiversity, certified materials, traceability, circular economy and the empowerment of women.
Watch Out
Royal
The wrist is fit for royalty – as the new version of the legendary “Royal Oak” from Audemars Piguet is particularly striking for its filigree design. The “Royal Oak Mini” has a diameter of just 23 millimeters. Back in 1997, the factory surprised everyone with a tiny “Royal Oak”. Now the new “Mini Oak” collection continues the tradition by reinterpreting the proportions, architecture, design and performance of the smallest “Royal Oak” ever produced. The mini watch has a lot to offer: Among other things, a battery life of more than seven years and 18-carat yellow, white or rose gold.
