For an entire week, everything revolves around one thing: sustainability – a current and rather big topic in the fashion world. However, one event that particularly encouraged the desire for transparency was the Rana Plaza factory collapse in Bangladesh in 2013. After this shocking incident, the Fashion Revolution and gained a huge platform with the hashtag “whoademyclothes?”. The creators demand transparency in the fashion industry and organize an annual week of action around the anniversary of the Rana Plaza disaster: over 100 countries are already part of this movement – this year, Fashion Revolution Week is also taking place in Switzerland. From April 19 to 25, you have the opportunity to take part in this diverse week yourself: Talks on sustainable fashion, a charity flea market and the Fair T-Shirt Trail are just some of the programs of this year’s Fashion Revolution Week! So get out into the fresh air and actively fight for a more transparent and sustainable fashion world!
