The Speedmaster watches are Omega’s masterpiece. Now the models in the 38 mm collection shine even brighter.
No watch has ever come closer to the stars than the Omega Speedmaster. Since 1962, it has flown into space on the wrists of numerous astronauts; Buzz Aldrin wore it during his exploration of the moon. In 2017, the Swiss manufacturer launched the slightly smaller 38 mm version. Still equipped with supernatural technology, her elegant appearance is more suited to a dance in the moonlight than a NASA mission.
A new collection has now been presented in Milan, with materials that sparkle like the Milky Way. The classic Speedmaster look of the eight models is enhanced by diamonds and is available in gold and stainless steel. For the dials, the designers were inspired by Omega classics such as the Moonwatch 42 mm and the De Ville Chocolate.
The jewelry pieces are staged by top model Kaia Gerber and actresses Han So-hee and Liu Shishi.
