“And the winner is…” – was the verdict yesterday in ten categories of the Smile Swiss Influencer Award 2022. The award ceremony is the highlight for every influencer and a fixed item on the agenda of beauty bloomers, lifestyle bloggers and travel fanatics who have all gathered under one roof. Model starlet Larissa Kiassumbua hosted the award and brought plenty of excitement to the halls of Zurich’s Kaufleuten Club. The nominees held their breath – silence, until the redemption finally came: Well-known names such as Joung Gustav and Nathalie Sulser, as well as newcomers like Patrick Scherz, were delighted. After the applause of each content creator and a few tears of joy, all the happy winners now have one more trophy in their display case. We were just as surprised as the winners when Kings Elliot suddenly crashed the awards ceremony. The performance by the new Swiss pop icon was Hollywood-worthy and, in our opinion, almost deserves its own award. People were busy posting, liking and commenting throughout the evening – and the mood was almost too good to even pick up their cell phones. What is still missing? Of course, every good award needs a great after-party: over 1,000 VIPs danced to the beats of DJ Cruz until late in the evening and enjoyed making lots of new friends – or followers.
