The history of the Swiss watch brand Omega reads at least as excitingly as a Grimm’s fairy tale. What began in La-Chaux-de-Fonds in 1848 was duly celebrated in New York in mid-November 2023. The place to be: the Chelsea Factory in the pulsating heart of the city, where time flies faster than anywhere else. The occasion: the opening of the Planet Omega exhibition. On display were Omega’s milestones and the most iconic models that have adorned the wrists of Elvis and Daniel Craig. The latter also paid a visit to the exhibition, as did Nicole Kidman, Cindy Crawford and Kaia Gerber, who gave the red carpet a special glow.
