Grandiose guests, champagne and a pause in between for a good cause: Moët & Chandon’s Effervescence party in Zurich at the end of November 2023 leaves fond memories.
Superlatives à go go – a good motto for a party and a fitting one for the Moët & Chandon bash, which took place on the 29th. November 2023 took possession of the Zurich Kunsthaus. There was Roger Federer, for example, a magnet for guests and, alongside the Matterhorn, something of a Swiss landmark, who dutifully complied with every selfie request. Federer was not only there as a photo motif and Chandon ambassador, but also for the Roger Federer Foundation. The latter was delighted to receive a generous donation for a good cause after auctioning off a golden bottle of champagne. Then there was Carlos Leal, who warmed up the guests for the party with his song “Champagne” to match the hostess. Meanwhile, the champagne was flowing in streams – a very fine drop, by the way, namely the Grand Vintage 2015, the 45th edition. Rosé vintage from the house of Chandon. As the alcohol began to work its way into the blood of the guests, familiar faces such as Pierre Monnard, Christa Rigozzi and Baschi merged with the crowd dressed in sequins and glitter, who crowned the first Swiss Effervescence party by Moët & Chandon with their enthusiasm.
