In 2007, Stauffacher got down to business and not only founded the Sapori Ticino agency, but also a festival that honors the greats of international gastronomy every year. On 10. To mark the occasion, invited guests gathered for the Sapori Ticino Gala Dinner in Lucerne on November 1, 2022 – but not just anywhere, but in the newly renovated Mandarin Oriental Palace. The hotel’s new highlights: two panoramic roof terrace suites with views of the lake and mountains, as well as the 133 square meter presidential suite. Four new restaurants and bars ensure that thirst and hunger don’t even arise. Speaking of which: this year, Stauffacher dedicated the San Pellegrino Sapori Ticino Festival to Spanish chefs who not only conjured up food on their plates, but true works of art. An evening of thinking outside the box, at the end of which nobody went home hungry.
