Fancy that down-under feeling but don’t have the money to jump on a plane? The Outback Lodge at Stadelhofen station in Zurich has been satisfying our wanderlust – and our hunger – for over 25 years. After extensive renovations, our favorite Aussie place is open again and also has a new treat in store: The new Australian cocktail bar Sly Grog is located on the upper floor. True to the motto “Life’s too short for bad drinks”, true works of art are served here, enchanting us with their sweet, sour, bitter or fruity notes. We sip our new favorite cocktail in the usual relaxed Aussie atmosphere. Special highlight: the new tea time where we are served a gin and tonic in a tea service.
Every Wednesday to Saturday, the new Sly Grog cocktail bar at the Outback Lodge becomes the place to be and can even be hired for private events.
