What we sip our iced coffee from and what we cook: Our food trends of the month.
We Love
Love in a Bowl
The solution to every problem, from heartache to winter blues? A plate of ramen. The Japanese noodle soup is good for both the stomach and the mind. It’s just a shame that it always tastes so much better in a restaurant than at home. Anyone who gets their hands on Tim Anderson’s book “Ramen Forever” could soon change that. On over 200 pages, there is every conceivable type of ramen to cook. Until you suddenly try your hand at the more unusual recipes such as pizza ramen and no longer know how it got this far in the first place. Thanks to this declaration of love for one of the most popular soul foods, you will become a noodle pro in no time at all.

Nice to Have
Chocolate art
Chocolate and art simply go together. Especially when it comes to the carefully crafted bars from Garçoa. This is the sixth time that the Art Edition has been launched. Each time, one artist is given free rein to design the packaging, while the production team also gets creative in the manufacture of the bar. This year it was artist Lina Müller’s turn. We keep the packaging with the pretty yellow shell, while the chocolate is sure to be eaten within minutes.
Darling
Girly
Why reach for a normal glass when there’s also one with a giant pink glass bow? Extra cute and with just as much kitsch as necessary, Lepelclub has launched the matching tumbler to their already much-hyped glass straws. We grab one with a pink and one with a clear bow and can hardly wait to drink our daily iced coffee from it.
