Milan offers more than just shopping – for example the PhotoVogue Festival, which takes place from March 6 – 9 at the BASE cultural center. Under the motto ” The Tree of Life: A Love Letter to Nature“ photographers from all over the world address ethics and aesthetics.

Photography belongs to fashion, fashion belongs to photography – in such a symbiosis, it is difficult to say who influenced whom and who came first. So the fact that the magazine launched PhotoVogue, a platform for up-and-coming talent, is a perfect fit. The PhotoVogue Festival is now taking place for the ninth time. For four days, everything revolves around photography at the BASE cultural center.

Legendary Vogue covers and new talents
Numerous artists responded to a worldwide open call. 50 selected talents made it into the main exhibition “The Tree of Life: A Love Letter to Nature”. The works of the photographers and videographers are a tribute to nature and a reminder of the fragility and beauty of life on our planet. Another exhibition focuses on the region with 42 Latin American artists and explores themes such as identity, culture and dependence on our environment. A digital exhibition shows how nature has been a recurring theme on various Vogue covers over the decades and celebrates the relationship between fashion and nature.
