Art does not always hang in museums. Sometimes you find them outside, where life beats louder than your heart after a 100-meter sprint. This is where Grace Banks and her team create installations whose effect penetrates even deeper when surrounded by everyday life – via the pupil into the brain and down towards the heart. Whether in the Italian hinterland, the Utah desert or hidden in Finnish forests: Art is where you see it.

Art Escapes
Art does not belong behind glass, at least not always. It beautifies a promenade or provides a scavenger hunt in the forest – and all without admission or a museum tour. Grace Banks has found installations and works, in obvious and less obvious places, and put them together with gestalten in a book. After reading “Art Escapes”, a visit to the museum will never be the same again.

Art is where you see it. Alberto Venzago found the former in the Japanese mafia. Take a look at his pictures here.
