The new Toyota Aygo X is a hot vehicle that would easily find its place on the catwalk. However, the inner values make Toyota’s newcomer so great that we are already itching to press the accelerator pedal.
You don’t praise the day before the evening – and you don’t just praise a car for its looks. And yet: the exterior of the new Toyota Aygo X makes for a car that you are only too happy to show off and next to which you can still enjoy a little attention if you have parked it somewhere. The Toyota design team in Belgium went to great lengths to create this eye-catcher, whose color concept is reminiscent of spices. Chilli and ginger then provide at least as much spiciness as in their pure form, while the cardamom and juniper variants live up to the term coolness. You could rave for hours about the chic exterior, the sleek high-tech headlights that nestle against the hood like wings, the large grille, the fog lamps and the underride guard, which together literally scream: always ready!
But let’s move on to the inner values, which the Toyota Aygo X has nothing to hide. Toyota’s new showpiece has room for all the shopping you need for a Saturday trip to Bahnhofstrasse, without compromising the car’s maneuverability. The raised seating position ensures a safe driving experience, and gimmicks such as a fabric sunroof simply put you in a good mood. Toyota equips its Aygo X with the best in technology and still gives us an affordable and economical car: that’s an argument we like to hear! Four speakers with a 300W amplifier and a 200mm subwoofer provide powerful bass and a sound that makes us whoop. There is also a 9-inch HD touchscreen, ambient lighting, wireless device charging, the pre-collision system, pedestrian detection, collision mitigation and everything that ensures a safe and fun ride.
