For fall/winter 2026/27, Nadège Vanhée is building the Hermès collection around the idea of “liminal time” – twilight, that moment between day and night when shapes appear sharper and details gradually become visible. The silhouettes exist in a space between light and shadow, where surfaces catch the light in unpredictable ways. Night is not understood as pure darkness, but as a spectrum. The color palette shifts like the sky at dusk: from warm sunset tones to cooler, moonlight-like nuances. Sulphur yellow, oxblood, deep forest green, midnight blue and shimmering burgundy set accents within the darker base. In this atmosphere, tailoring forms the foundation of the collection: jackets and coats with clear shoulders, defined waists and clean vertical lines. The proportions remain close to the body and underline Hermès’ language of control and precision.

Outerwear
Outerwear defines the silhouette. Long leather riding coats appear belted and protective, referencing the House’s equestrian heritage. Coats that end just above the knee maintain the same disciplined line with precise tailoring and accentuated waists. Aviator jackets, quilted bombers and leather biker jackets bring a shorter proportion into play. The result moves between control and freedom.

Dresses
The dresses look compact and structured. Quilting and striking zippers shape the silhouette and add both structure and decorative details.

Bottoms
Pants take up the equestrian tradition of Hermès. Narrow silhouettes are reminiscent of modern jodhpurs and are cut close to the leg. Skirts follow clear lines: A-line minis and elongated pencil silhouettes with front zippers and saddle-inspired seams. Smooth and textured leather gives the garments strength.

Knits
Knitwear brings a material contrast to the collection. Fine wools, ribbed knits and cashmere appear in compact sweaters and tight-fitting turtlenecks. The surfaces remain clear and calm, occasionally interrupted by leather inserts that introduce additional texture.

Details
Details have always been a central component of Nadège Vanhée’s design language for Hermès womenswear. This season, however, the elaboration is even more intense, elaborate and slightly tongue-in-cheek. Contrasting materials and textures run through the entire collection, while quilting shapes and forms the garments. Leather inserts in knitwear provide tactile contrasts, while functional pockets on jackets and coats add a playful, slightly cheeky touch – a subtle, youthful humor within Hermès’ impeccable craftsmanship.

Fall/Winter 2026/27 also brings a larger selection of new bags to the collection. Our favorites:

Nadège Vanhée remains true to feminine tailoring, but her collections are never timid. The Hermès woman she designs moves effortlessly between tradition and new beginnings. She is the woman who has mastered the elegance of the side saddle – but also the one who simply challenged the rule one day. Vanhée’s work thrives on precisely this tension: femininity paired with independence, elegance sharpened by strength. With Hermès Womenswear Fall/Winter 2026/27, she once again demonstrates her flair for the modern Hermès woman – confident, self-assured and quietly fearless.
