Costume designer Janie Bryant gives six Hamilton watch models a make-over. Our highlight: the Hamilton American Classic Intra-Matic Automatic Chronograph in rosé.
More people are involved in the success of a movie than actors and directors. Like Janie Bryant, costume designer on “Mad Men”, “Deadwood” and “Why Women Kill”, who is responsible for dressing the actors and actresses in the right fashion. Bryant is now switching from people to watches for a capsule collection with Hamilton. And this is no coincidence, as the Swiss watch brand’s timepieces have already made over 500 appearances in films and TV shows. Hamilton is thus helping to write a piece of Hollywood history. Six Hamilton classics have now been redesigned by Bryant, whose exciting appearance catapults the timepieces onto the red carpet. The Art Deco model Ardmore Quartz, for example, shimmers in silver-white , while the Lady Hamilton Vintage Quartz with either sparkling diamonds and a black dial or yellow-gold ball decorations and a pearl-white dial looks as if it has been dressed up for a film premiere. Gold and silver come into play in the Intra-Automatic Chronograph and the Ardmore Quartz, while our secret highlight awaits its grand entrance. Janie Bryant waves her magic wand over the Hamilton American Classic Intra-Matic Automatic Chronograph and gives the sporty model a Cinderella transformation par excellence: the chronograph finally appears in a delicate rose-colored look with beige-gold PVD-coated hands and a soft leather strap that completes the eye-catching dial like a train completes a noble gown. Unlike the outfit for the red carpet, however, the Hamilton American Classic Intra-Matic Automatic Chronograph (approx. 2,295.-) never goes out of fashion.
