The business concept came about when the owner of the entire complex fell in love with the current managing director of THE SPOT, who was still living in Ibiza at the time. Originally, all the apartments were to be sold. However, as he really wanted to bring his sweetheart to Munich, he thought about creating a job for her there and decided to turn part of the complex into a managed apartment building and revised the plans for this. This worked well and THE SPOT was born.
