Appetite-less drunken orgies on the beach, clumsy DJs with 1-2 kindergarten songs and vacationers devouring sausages. You won’t get stuck in Mallorca with these images in your head, but you’re a philistine if you think you’re in a German tourist temple. Mallorca has much more to offer – and plenty of everything. Fantastic weather, classy boutiques, exquisite restaurants, a varied nightlife, pure nature. It doesn’t matter what you are looking for here, you will most likely find it. Paula Rombys Falkenstein emigrated from Uruguay to Palma 28 years ago and would never move away from here.

Convent de la Missio

Probably the prettiest area is the one around Santa Catalina, also known as the shabby-chic district. Here you can meet the city’s creative people, and nice cafés invite you to linger. Shopping trips are best planned for the old town , and in the evenings you can party in Paseo Maritimo.
