Cindy Crawford’s former house in Malibu is being offered for 99.5 million dollars. You get a lot for that, including that supermodel feeling.
Cindy Crawford was one of the most popular and best-known supermodels of the 1980s and 90s. She has appeared on the covers of over 500 magazines, including Vogue, Elle and Cosmopolitan, and has walked the catwalk for brands such as Versace, Ralph Lauren and Dolce & Gabbana. Known for her “beauty mark” or birthmark above her lip, she was repeatedly ranked as one of the most beautiful women in the world.
An estate on the cliffs of Malibu that once belonged to the supermodel is currently being sold for 99.5 million dollars. The villa is truly secluded behind gates on over three hectares of manicured grounds above Malibu’s El Sol Beach. A private path leads down to the white sandy beach, which is only accessible to the few surrounding villas in the neighborhood. The house has been designed to make the most of the panoramic view of the coast. Mature trees, including palm trees, surround the house and create a peaceful, natural atmosphere.
The two-storey Mediterranean-style building with red roofs has an area of 7,450 square meters. The main floor, with its chic, airy floor plan, consists of one large room containing the living room, study, dining area and gourmet kitchen. Floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors provide a view of the sea, the beach and the coastline and lead onto the surrounding terrace with a fireplace. The large master suite has a fireplace and a sitting area as well as two spa baths and a walk-in closet. The other bedrooms have their own bathrooms, one of which has its own entrance, bathroom and kitchen. A fitness room with vaulted ceilings and a media room complete the villa.
