Pure retro eye candy
The vibrant Bordeaux color inspired by the 1980s
Bordeaux is a rich and deep color that embodies luxury and sophistication.

This decade saw the emergence of geometric patterns, glossy surfaces and vibrant colors.

Orange-brown blush
Overall, the color orange played a significant role in the 1970s and became an aesthetic hallmark of the decade. It was part of a broader trend toward vibrant, earthy tones that defined the era, including hues like avocado green, harvest gold and rust.
These colors were prominent throughout interior design, fashion and home appliances.
Orange is still celebrated today for its warm, bold presence.
The hue added a vibrant and cheerful touch to the predominantly earthy palettes of the 1970s and was often combined with brown and other warm tones to create a cozy, inviting atmosphere in homes.
The comeback is not to be overlooked, especially as Pantone announces “Peach Fuzz”, a mix of salmon and orange, as the color of the year for 2024.
Glass furniture for light shows
Glass furniture pieces such as coffee tables, dining tables and side tables are also making a comeback in 2024. Transparent or tinted glass adds a touch of elegance and sophistication to interiors and makes smaller spaces appear larger.
Whether used structurally, decoratively or functionally, glass helps to create visually appealing and functional spaces that reflect contemporary design.
