1. statement faux fur coats
Oversized faux fur coats dominated the catwalks for fall/winter 2024/25 and offer numerous styling options. A pastel-colored faux fur coat like the one from Givenchy in apple green, for example, can be combined with a slim black turtleneck sweater, leather leggings and ankle boots to create a city chic look. Wear them casually with jeans and flat suede ankle boots for a laid-back day or layer them over a floral print maxi dress for relaxed Sundance festival vibes.

Designers refine classic long coats with elaborate embellishments, as seen in the designs of Elie Saab. These coat trends are versatile and are perfect for different occasions. Style them with tailored pants and heels for an elegant office look. Alternatively, you can wear them over a sweater and jeans for a chic weekend ensemble. Such an eye-catching coat not only makes it easy to spice up a seemingly boring outfit, but also ensures that the coat remains timeless and becomes a coveted piece that always attracts attention.

Chunky knitwear is versatile and suitable for a variety of occasions, from casual outings to cozy evenings in. Style a creatively ripped knit sweater like Coperni’s version with high-waist jeans and ankle boots for a chic daytime look. The trend for casual pants will continue in fall/winter 2024/25, as can be seen on the Max Mara and Dries Van Noten catwalks. Combine them with a white T-shirt, an oversized blazer and sneakers for a casual-chic look. If you want to wear the outfit in a more formal setting, choose a tailored blazer and heels or loafers to finish the look.

The double denim trend returns for fall/winter 24/25. To make this trend work, combine your denim tops and bottoms in exactly the same shade. Victoria Beckham presented this trend on the catwalk with jackets and matching jeans in an indigo double denim look. Dior showed its version of double denim with a bleached, cropped denim jacket and a pleated denim skirt, styling this look with a single bracelet cuff.

Tights became popular in street style in winter 2023/24 and continued in fall/winter 2024/25. This style has been adopted by designers.
