True identity comes from within and can be accentuated from the outside. Cara Delevingne is the new face of Armedangels’ Fall/Winter “Never the Expected” collection. Together, they show that denim has no rules.
What do Cara Delevingne and Armedangels have in common? Neither of them follows the rules. Cara Delevingne is the brand ambassador for Armedangels’ new Fall/Winter “Never the Expected” campaign. Together with the sustainable label, she shows that conventions are meant to be broken. Cara guides us through the fictional Detox Denim Lab, challenges classic denim concepts, and shows what happens when personal flair and true innovation collide.

Denim Through and Through
Since 2018, the Cologne-based fashion label has been taking a close look at denim production and examining every single step—from materials and manufacturing to washing and finishing. A blend of organic cotton, recycled cotton, and innovative fibers from SaXcell creates a fabric called Detox Denim—completely free of synthetic pesticides or chemicals. The Lyocell fiber consists of 30 percent recycled cotton textile waste and 70 percent FSC-certified wood pulp. Despite all this, the brand doesn’t compromise on fit, quality, or style.

Cara de-le-Reinvention
Reinventing herself is practically in Cara Delevingne’s blood. From model to actress and now to an electropop icon. Her album “Not Normal” will be released shortly after the campaign, on September 25. The new album is sure to be a huge hit, and of course, you’ll need the perfect outfit from Armedangels for the listening party. The new collection features bold washes in deep indigo and a vintage look. For women, the workwear-inspired Barrel Fit Aalthea, the loose-fitting Enijaa and Astraeaas, and the classic Straight Fit Aikaala offer modern silhouettes. For men, the fits range from the relaxed tapered-fit Maakxy and the loose baggy-fit Jaameo to the newly introduced classic straight-fit Maadox.
