Sponcho: Changing room to go

Don’t fancy peeling out of your wet bikini in the cramped, stuffy changing rooms? Or is there no checkroom nearby to change into your swimwear? The new Sponchos swim ponchos are our saviors in times of need.

Who doesn’t know it? You’re in the outdoor pool. The changing room is either at the other end of the swimming facility or completely overcrowded. And you don’t really feel like bending over on a square meter and breaking out in a sweat just because you want to slip into your swimsuit quickly anyway. It also makes sense to avoid gatherings of people in small rooms, especially in times of coronavirus. The problem: how do you still get into your swimsuit quickly and elegantly without stripping off in public?

The Hunziker family has come up with something very special and has taken inspiration from Australia’s surfing community: Sponchos. These cotton and polyester swim ponchos are handmade in Portugal by a family business. The fabrics used are not only produced in an ecologically sustainable way, but are also of high quality. A mobile changing room that provides a little privacy wherever you need to change in peace.

As well as being used as a mobile changing room, the sponchos can also be used as a towel or simply to snuggle up in. They are true all-rounders!
