Roberto Cavalli’s fall/winter 2025/26 collection, “Pompeii Future”, skillfully combines antique influences with futuristic accents. Creative director Fausto Puglisi incorporates his Italian heritage and creates an interplay between the brand’s typical opulence and modern sensibilities.

The omnipresent Mount Vesuvius adds drama to the collection, its fiery past artfully reflected in velvet devoré dresses that seem to dance in the light. This volcanic motif can also be found in casual denim pants and a trench coat with luxurious faux leopard fur – a tribute to Cavalli’s untamed spirit. The collection evolves from practical daywear to seductive slip dresses with animal prints combined with faux fur. Evening dresses flow with patterns reminiscent of molten lava, capturing the transformative essence of the force of nature. Outerwear is a testament to luxury, with sumptuous faux furs and black leather coats with smoky charcoal accents, perhaps a nod to Pompeii’s ashy past.

Accessories catch the eye: lava stones and pearls, together with gemstones in Pompeian red and oversized cameos, dominate the jewelry scene. Delicate gold filigree adorns both flat shoes and pointed pumps. The newly introduced serpentine bags and sneakers celebrate the snake – a timeless symbol of sensuality and change.
