Reunion at Mode Suisse: 20th anniversary edition

Passend zum frühherbstlichen Wetter präsentierten Volans und SOL SOL ITO ihre Bademode in gedeckten Farben und mit Trompetenärmeln.

Vladislav Rüegger von F+F Modedesign Zürich liess sich von seinem Geburtsort Balaclava (Krim) in Russland inspirieren, wo die Sturmhaube erfunden wurde.

Abstrakte Muster und Metalldetails zieren die Kollektion von HEAD – Genève Designerin Sarah Bounab.

Die Kollektion von Nomadissem wurde von Japan und dem Konzept des Ikigai inspiriert – ein Konzept für ein Leben in Harmonie.

Eröffnet wurde die Show von Nina Yuun x Leonie Risch mit charakteristischer, nachhaltiger Eleganz.

Mourjjan x Ginny Litscher nahm das Publikum mit ihrer Kollektion auf eine farbenfrohe Reise.

Lida Noba präsentierte eine energiegeladene und lebendige Kollektion.

Leonardo Anic von F+F Modedesign Zürich machte uns mit Kapuzenpulli Lust auf Winter.

Mit Strick, bunten Farben und verspielten Schnitten weckte Jacqueline Loekito gemeinsam mit Tobias Gutman Kindheitserinnerungen.

Designerin Céline Schmid von HEAD – Genève konzentrierte sich mit ihrer Debütkollektion auf die alltäglichen Unvollkommenheiten einer klassischen Garderobe.

Das junge Zürcher Label Casella Meyer inszenierte mit Air-Brush-Kunst vor Ort eine ganz besondere Live-Performance.

Besime Sasivari von F+F Modedesign Zürich liess sich von Konzepten der Mimikry und Mimesis sowie von den Mechanismen und Prozessen der Wahrnehmung inspirieren.

amorphous and other designers conjured up on the catwalk of the industrial location provided sunshine on this rainy Monday evening. There was joy in the air – perhaps also because, after three editions that went a little differently due to the pandemic, Mode Suisse shone in new splendor, at least as much as the fashion crowd, who still preferred to greet each other with a cautious wave rather than kisses left and right. Back on the catwalk: while Nina Yuun’s models literally floated across the industrial floor in elegant fringed dresses and elaborately crafted gowns, the swimwear collection from Volans x SOL SOL ITO With its trumpet sleeves and muted colors, the new look was completely in keeping with the early autumn weather that was raging outside Hall D in Zurich Altstetten. After the show, people gathered next door to marvel at the collections and chat with the designers, who incidentally source their clothing and accessories from the September 3 to 2. October at Jelmoli in Zurich.
