From pop superstar to creative director. Pharrell Williams’ first collection for Louis Vuitton was eagerly awaited and thrilled both the public and the experts.
A colossal wall of spotlights illuminates the catwalk on the Pont Neuf bridge in Paris. On display: the Men’s Spring-Summer Collection 2023 from Louis Vuitton. The creative mind behind it is Pharrell Williams, who is actually better known for songs like “Happy”. The fact that the 90s hip-hop icon is a man of radiance is also reflected in his collection: the radiance of the sun is the central motif and is intended to symbolize knowledge, growth and love for our fellow human beings. So next year we can expect lots of warm colors and shiny surfaces. The collection also includes elements of Louis Vuitton’s Damier pattern combined with Minecraft-style camouflage motifs, as well as a reinterpretation of the Speedy bag and various shoe designs. We are therefore eagerly looking forward to next year’s collection.
