Louis Vuitton Men Spring/Summer 26: From Mumbai with Love

If Pharrell Williams wasn’t Creative Director of Louis Vuitton, he should open a travel agency. With his Louis Vuitton men’s spring/summer 26 collection, the American has once again not just delivered a fashion show, but arranged a cultural trip to a faraway place. Music, vibes, atmosphere: everything to immerse yourself in, this time in India. The subcontinent played the leading role that evening. This began with the runway: a huge “Snakes and Ladders” board, inspired by the old Indian parlor game. The show and collection were a celebration of life, connection and Indian tradition – told through sartorial art.

Louis Vuitton Men’s Spring/Summer 26 Collection:

In his new Louis Vuitton menswear collection, Pharrell draws heavily on the suit and luggage designs that Marc Jacobs (then Creative Director of Louis Vuitton) created for Wes Anderson’s 2007 film “The Darjeeling Limited“. This slightly quirky, charming aesthetic is revived here – modern, fresh, cult fashion: with a unique vibe, made for those who dress curiously and creatively.

Pharrell’s designs appear relaxed and informal – blazers are worn casually over cricket stripes, suit pants are combined with shorts, patterns clash wildly and yet still make perfect sense. It was less about perfection and more about personality. The looks are casual yet stylish. Garments, shoes and accessories with palm tree embroidery play with tradition without breaking it. And while the style is often inward-looking, there are also moments that look outwards – to nature, where hiking boots meet outerwear in richly textured fabrics. Perfect for glamping, but not as a disguise, but as a real sense of life.

With its spring/summer 26 men’s collection, Louis Vuitton cultivates its storytelling through craftsmanship – this time with the soul of India and a touch of movie nostalgia. The collection exudes masculine coolness with a pinch of gentlemanly charm. Pharrell delivers something trendy, but above all genuine – for all those who like to express themselves and be who they are: “Je ne ressemble à personne.”
