Louis Vuitton presented its winter collection at the Musée d’Orsay in Paris. We know what there was to see.
Louis Vuitton returned to the Musée d’Orsay for the presentation of its winter collection. What awaited us here at Fashion Week in Paris was more of a spectacle than a fashion show – a true masterpiece of scenography, sound and fashion. The fashion house returned to its roots and paid tribute to travel by showing thick knitted sweaters for long train journeys, cool egg-shape coats for big adventures and casual bloomers for a trip to the desert. Tweed, wool and knitwear were complemented by fake fur and leather, with Louis Vuitton keeping a low profile when it came to colors. Eggshell, gray, black and various natural tones were used to create a collection whose pieces can be mixed and matched as desired. However, special attention is paid to the accessories: boots that suggest pumps even in winter thanks to the illusion print and pumps tied with shoe laces meet playful box bags.
