Florals for spring? No, Flora for summer. The iconic Flora print is celebrating its 60th anniversary and can be found everywhere in the current Gucci campaign. It makes you want to pack your swimsuit and spend the summer months in sunny Monte Carlo.
The perfect summer backdrop has an equally perfect color palette: blue in all its shades and gold like a sunset. This is how it looks in Monte Carlo. A good choice for Gucci’s current summer campaign.
Among them are some familiar faces who have already made the Gucci runway unsafe: Anok Yai and Amelia Gray, among others.

The pieces feature floral patterns. Not just any flowers, but Flora. Originally designed by Vittorio Accornero at the request of Rodolfo Gucci for Princess Grace of Monaco, Flora was conceived as a lush field of flowers in 37 different colors and was initially presented as a silk scarf. Now the pattern can also be found on swimsuits, shirts and bags.
