Fendi Fall/Winter 2025/26 – Fearless Fendi

For the Fendi Fall/Winter 2025/26 collection, Silvia Venturini Fendi revived the House’s heritage with unmistakable boldness. Fur – and plenty of it – returned to the catwalk. The polarizing fur debate was not sidestepped, but answered with innovation. The opulent look was created with masterfully crafted shearling, reminiscent of mink and sable. This sophisticated reinterpretation honors Fendi’s tradition of luxury while responding to the changing fashion industry.

A century of Fendi: a collection rooted in its heritage

The new Spazio Fendi in Milan was transformed into a journey through time, bringing the legendary salons of the Fendi boutique and atelier in Via Borgognona in Rome back to life. But the setting was more than just a throwback – it took guests into the world where five generations of Fendi women shaped a fashion house synonymous with craftsmanship, glamor and innovation. For its 100th anniversary, Fendi honors its history while looking forward. From Adele Casagrande Fendi to the legendary Fendi sisters, the house has redefined luxury time and time again – with bold design and an unmistakable identity. But instead of drawing on archives, Silvia Venturini Fendi opted for a personal reflection:

“FENDI 100 is more of a journey through my memories – real or imagined – of what FENDI was and what it means today.”

The Fendi fall/winter 2025/26 collection

Fendi’s Fall/Winter 2025-26 collection was a masterclass in texture and illusion, merging structure and fluidity in a fascinating way. Ribbed knit dresses flowed into delicate scalloped hems, while collarless coats with detachable fur fronts combined versatility with elegance. Hourglass silhouettes were reinterpreted with satin balza skirts, voluminous corolla jackets and sculptural sleeves – each piece a play of volume and movement. A-line skirts with chevron patterns and trench coats in lambskin and pleated taffeta added a touch of vintage glamor to the Italian power dressing aesthetic. The color palette captured the magic of Rome at sunset – deep green, graphite and petrol blue fused with warm cinnamon, terracotta and playful accents in bubblegum hues.

The art of accessories

Fendi does not see accessories as mere embellishments – they are narrative elements. Net-like beanies were reminiscent of Adele Fendi’s iconic style, while the jewelry designed by Delfina Delettrez Fendi shimmered with metallic, fur-like structures.

Bags – Icons rethought

If there’s one thing Fendi knows how to do, it’s turn bags into covetables. This season was no exception. The iconic Spy Bag made its comeback in shearling – a tactile experience. The Baguette and Peekaboo shone in shearling intarsia, disco sequins and fluting suede techniques that fused nostalgia and innovation.

Footwear – Experimenting with illusions

Trompe-l’œil boots and peep-toe slippers made of satin and eel skin played with visual effects, while peep-toe slippers made of soft shearling lambskin added luxurious accents.

A co-ed show that perfectly unites menswear and womenswear

Fendi’s Fall/Winter 2025 collection was a co-ed show that perfectly combined menswear and womenswear. The men’s collection had chic outerwear – from fisherman jackets to waxed trench coats and structured bombers, all with great attention to detail and a modern touch. Precious materials such as faux fur and leather were combined with elaborate appliqués to add depth to the looks. In terms of color, there was a cool mix of neutral tones and bright cornflower blue.

The final applause: a moment for eternity

When Silvia Venturini Fendi received her applause, there was an almost surreal moment in the air – time seemed to stand still. Not a sea of smartphones, but pure, unadulterated applause. A rare honor in a world full of distractions. This collection was fashion at its most honest: a celebration of craftsmanship, tradition, artistry and visionary innovation. It showed that Fendi continues to reinvent itself without losing its roots. With timeless elegance and fearless character, the house appeared more relevant and present than ever.

With this collection, Silvia Venturini Fendi reminded the world: Fendi is and remains unmistakably Fendi – wild, untamed, incomparable. At the same time, she proved that she doesn’t need a Robin to be her Batman.
