Fashion Trend Glittering

The gray mouse has had its day, from now on we are competing with any spotlight. How does that work? One look down the catwalk at Rabanne and we know: This season, nothing beats gold and everything else that glitters and shines as if a magpie had just completed its best raid.

Nice to know

Five

Hand on heart: how many new items of clothing have you bought this year? We’re guessing: There are more than five, right? Damn it! The UN recommends that we should invest our money in a maximum of five new items in 365 days in order not to exceed the set limit of 1.5 degrees Celsius of global warming.

Darling

Girl next door

Family and Christmas go together like cookies and cocoa. And it’s no different for celebrities like Chloë Sevigny. Zalando grabs our secret girl crush for its latest campaign and accompanies the actress-slash-model-slash-director in her favorite looks during all the preparations for the big party. Under the motto “Unwrap Your Story”, we take a look through Sevigny’s keyhole and into the private sphere – from reading in bed to hauling the Christmas tree.

Unfuck the World

Bedding

Not in the mood to crawl out of bed in these temperatures? There is a solution: Byredo’s new down jacket, created in collaboration with the Swedish label Reboco, known for blankets and bedding. The cozy coats, which are available in black, purple and green, are made from recycled down, fabrics from leftover stock and vintage textiles that are given a new lease of life in Italy. The name of the result says it all: B50-Wearable-Blanket. Now that’s an announcement.

Collaboration

Pirates of the Caribbean

Is there a more iconic piece than the Doc Martens kicker? Well, the well-known boot that keeps rebels and hipsters alike warm on their feet comes in a Caribbean dress this winter, with Doc Martens teaming up with Denim Tears. The Union Jack and the Jamaican flag merge together and are reinterpreted on our favorite boots and their brother, the loafer.

The Look

Peacock

I wonder what’s going on in Jeremy Scott’s brain? We’re guessing there will be as much action as on the fairground. The looks in his winter collection for Moschino certainly give us at least as much excitement as a wild ride on a rollercoaster. Absolute favorite: the leather suit with a purple Cinderella moment that easily knocks 0815 princesses off their thrones.
