This month’s fashion trends not only need space in your closet, but also on your bookshelf.
Look
Fashion Trend Goddess
A dress that works as well on the red carpet as it does on the flower meadow? Look no further. We spotted this shimmering dream, cut to fit and with swinging fringes, on the catwalk at Alexander McQueen. This peplum made of smooth leather, more mini skirt than waist belt, adds to the coolness of this feminine dress.
Book
Fashion Trend Art Movement
No one has understood fabrics like Issey Miyake. What the Japanese fashion designer brought to the catwalk was met with standing ovations and applause from all sides until the early hours of the morning. Miyake wielded his stylus like a magician with a magic wand, putting his ideas onto paper and finally onto the body. Taschen is dedicating a book to the grand master of textiles that, with its 448 pages and impressive 3.2 kilograms, takes up at least as much space on our shelves as Issey Miyake’s fashion does in our hearts.

We love
Lollipop
We don’t know what life will bring, whether the past decision was the right one and whether the path we took will lead us to the destination we originally had in mind. What if – Swatch also asked itself this question years ago when it decided in favor of the round and against the square bezel. With the Bioceramic What if? collection, the watch brand trumps with a mind game and shows models that could have been on our wrists back then. In addition to the square case, the eye-catcher: the pastel colors, thanks to which we can hardly contain our joy for warmer days.

Unfuck the World
Standing together
The beach is calling! But what if going into the changing room turns into a horror trip because your own body is not at all 0815? Well, there are brands like GirlsMustHave that not only design their swimsuits and bikinis cleverly and to fit all body shapes and dress sizes, but also cater to women who are dependent on the use of a prosthesis due to breast surgery. The latter can easily find its place thanks to special pockets. The material: double-layer stretch fabric that is processed in Como, Italy, by resourceful tailors with double seams. The designs: elegant glamor. The feeling of jumping into the cool water in these pieces: priceless.
Collaboration
A la plage
We’ll have to wait a while before our toes see the sun again. Meanwhile, our souls, battered by cold and gloomy clouds, feast on the images of Longchamp’s collaboration with K.Jacques: St. Tropez, 30 degrees, sunshine and leather Roman sandals that capture all the colors of the hot season, from orange to purple to green.

Nice to have
Bomb!
We don’t really think much of it-bags that do the rounds on every arm for a season, only to spend the rest of their existence in the depths of the closet. The good thing about the Jackie Notte from Gucci is that it is available in so many colors and designs that every fan will find their very own model. The classic silhouette, the Rubens body and the eye-catching carabiner make Gucci’s new baby an evergreen. And because we love kitschy sunsets, our choice naturally falls on this color, which always lets us carry a piece of summer with us.

Whether inherited from grandpa or plucked from the treasure trove: the classic leather belt is currently experiencing a revival. Long dismissed as a supporting actor, the accessory now plays the leading role on dresses, blouses, coats, jackets and anything else that can take a bit of tension. Prada is so enthusiastic about the return of the belt that two of them are being used.
